What does this look like to you? Likely, the same as it looked to me when it arrived. It is a Hottop KN-8828B-2K+ sent to us for repair. It stopped working and the owner decided to try to fix it.
The owner went to the extreme even disassembling the internal, metal framework. It started life as a KN-8828, but arrived as a KN-8828B-2K+ in terms of function, but some of the manual eject parts were not installed when it was updated, or at least to say, they were not in the box when it arrived. So what did we do? We packed it back into the box (in a slightly more secure manner than shown above at its arrival) and told the customer to let us know if they wanted it back.
If you are having problems, the very first thing to do is to open a customer support ticket and let us know the problem. What you think is serious (like beans ejecting on their own) can possibly be solved easily, and more affordably than sending the roaster to us.
Yes! We do repair roasters, and even full overhauls, but if there is a problem that may only require a Phillip's screwdriver and the removal of four screws, would that not be easier (and more affordable) the shipping your roaster to us?
PS - Please keep the original shipping box and packing materials when your roaster arrives! You may need them again some day!
